1468 the house was first mentioned, after it got sold, in a chronicle under the name "Ufem Stutz", what more or less means "on the hill". The house originates in medieval times and apparently served as a hospice - the spacious rooms prove its former purpose.
Today the Tgesa Ferrera provides on more than 250 m2:
